Laser power allows you to clean tire or other vulcanizing molds cost effectively, efficiently and without any remaining residues. Many of the molds can be cleaned in place at their operating temperatures, keeping the downtime of your equipment at a minimum. |

Laser systems work best when the contamination is thin and is of a dark color. Laser power therefore removes release agents and other carbon products fast and easily. Pieces of rubber should be removed manually prior to the use of a laser system. An automated optical system in combination with our 500 W laser is available for fast and efficient cleaning of tire molds. |

To laser clean vulcanizing molds for rubber products within the US, the molds have to be cleaned outside of a press. Plastic molds can be cleaned within the press. (US Patent RE 35.981) |
